I love being a stay-at-home mom, but I have been feeling like I don't contribute enough...I know, as if cleaning, cooking, doctoring, playing, teaching, driving, shopping aren't enough. I came across some very inspiring websites a few months ago that I have used to greatly decrease our spending! I am able to purchase items that I would not even think about because of our small spending budget.
Yesterday I purchased...
(2) All Small & Mighty, 50 oz
(1) Jumbo pack Huggies diapers
(2) Benefiber, 6.4 oz & 90 dose
(2) Quaker Oats, 18 oz
(2) Lubriderm Ointment, 1.75 oz
(2) Bic Soleil, 6 pk
(2) Windex Wipes, 28 ct
(1) Shout, 30 oz
(1) Theraflu, 6 ct
(1) Viva paper towels
(3) Kleenex, 184 ct
(1) Draino, 32 oz
(1) GE Softwhite Lightbulbs, 2 pk
(2) Aveeno Shampoo, 10.5 oz
(1) Aveeno Bodywash, 12 oz
and
(1) Coke, 2 liter
After all coupons and rebates I paid $5.71!!!
Not bad, huh?
A note about rebates...yes, you do have to pay first. But, I think they are more than worth the time. I especially like the Rite-Aid Single Check Rebates because you just enter your receipt info online and they send you a check.
My hope with this blog is to inspire someone else to be able to cut back on spending. Our family goal is to become debt free and purchase a travel trailer (one of our favorite activities). With the money that I am able to save with coupons and rebates, I think we can do this rather quickly!!!
Happy couponing!!!
